ACE Multi Department Teambuilding

Last week was a blast! I had the pleasure of working with Modernizing Medicine for the third time and I couldn’t be happier. The energy and people at this company are amazing. It was a big conference with multi department teambuilding – all day. They had new team members, some of which who were brand new and meeting their managers and fellow employees for the first time. The goal was team bonding and also a lesson on listening for the team as many were in the sales dept. The challenge was to get it all done within 45 minutes, and we did it! We hit all the goals and had a great time. We don’t do improv at these events but rather share the training that improvisers do in secret to become better listeners, communicators, and creators. I’m so grateful to ModMed for trusting me with such an important task and look forward to the next one! #teamwork #modernizingmedicine

What should I look for to hire a keynote speaker

If you’re charged to hire a keynote speaker, it’s important to look for certain qualities to ensure that they are the right fit for your event.

Hire a Keynote Speaker:

  1. Relevance: Look for a speaker who has experience and expertise in the topic area you want them to address. Make sure their message is relevant to your audience and aligned with the goals of your event.
  2. Engagement: The speaker should have the ability to engage and connect with the audience. Look for someone who is charismatic, dynamic, and has a captivating speaking style.
  3. Credibility: Consider the speaker’s background, experience, and achievements. Look for someone who is well-respected in their field and have a strong track record of delivering impactful presentations.
  4. Preparation: A great keynote speaker is well-prepared and invested in delivering an outstanding performance. Ask about their preparation process and make sure they understand the goals and expectations of your event.
  5. Flexibility: Consider if the speaker is able to adapt their message to the specific needs and circumstances of your event. Ensure they are open to feedback and willing to tailor their approach to best serve your audience.
  6. Availability: Make sure the speaker is available on the date and time of your event, and that they have a reliable and flexible schedule.
  7. Cost: Consider the speaker’s fee and determine if they are within your budget. Be sure to understand the total cost of hiring the speaker, including any travel and accommodation expenses.
  8. Testimonials: Read reviews and testimonials from past clients to get a sense of the speaker’s reputation and the impact they have had on previous audiences.

In conclusion

Therefore, when hiring a keynote speaker, it’s important to look for someone who is relevant, engaging, credible, well-prepared, flexible, available, cost-effective, and well-regarded by past clients. By considering these factors, you can select a speaker who will deliver a memorable and impactful performance that meets the needs of your event and your audience.
